I recently saw Saltburn here. The cinema is clean, spacious and has a good seating variety. The staff here are nice, albeit a little dry. The theaters are wheelchair accessible. Parking isn’t terribly far from the cinema. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and I’d return to see another film here.
NO POPCORN!! So disappointed! Didn't realize we should have looked up current ratings, issues, conditions, etc before going-- we've been coming here for years! Thought I could console myself with a glass of cheap wine but got a half pour. When I went to get another about 45 min into the movie, counter was closed up tight. Staff seemed pretty unhappy, too. Will not go back without checking that everything is "renovated", back up and running. American Fiction was good at least.
I used to love this theater (choice of movies, food and drink , customer service). Went last night (11/11/23). Movie too long but good. Intermission would have been nice.
Shocked by everything else. No popcorn, limited snacks, no food, limited drink, no real ice, no coffee/tea bar, no one to take tickets and smile, nasty attitude, lack of knowledge about when things would be fixed or even the mall itself. And that includes the manager who was there and said the popcorn would never be popped fresh again and the plumbing for the ice and other things would not be fixed for 6 mos. COVID was one of the excuses. Every other movie theatre is doing the right thing.
Advice - Bring your own and complain.
Had a blast here. Love that they show indie films. Note the concessions are not open currently. Seats are as comfy as old school theater chairs can be. Overall a great experience.
No popcorn. Soda machine has been broken for over a month. So sad, it has been our only theater for over 10 years. And it appears it is not going to improve.
And most telling, is no one is responding to these reviews. Do they care? Are they addressing the issues? It would be nice to see if things are going to improve. By not responding to the public feedback, and giving any information to why things are digressing, why should anyone return.
The theater does not have staggered seating like AMC or other theaters. Saw Boys in the Boat on Christmas Day 2023. Movie was great. The man next to me was rude. He elbowed me the entire movie. The theater needs bigger seats and more concessions.
How far this this theater has deteriorated! Supposedly being remodeled but awful in its current state. Seats are old uncomfortable dirty not stadium seating so obstructed by head in front of you. No concessions. Theater dirty and worn out. Disappointed will not return
If you're looking for luxurious recliner seats and amazing sound systems and all the high tech hoo ha, this probably isn't the place for you. But if you want a nice glass of wine and some really damn good cinema close to good restaurants that don't close too early, then come here. Never have I had a bad experience. Sometimes it seems a little weird leaving a late show and walking through a mall that closed hours ago. But for those of us that love going to the movies, and I mean independent, foreign film, not super hero movies,..... Please support this theater. With the loss of the Tivoli, this is the last place in town to feed your brain and soul with moving pictures.
